Why AceCSS

Everything a form needs.
Nothing it doesn't.

Built for real products, not demos. Every component was designed, used and refined inside a production rental platform before it got a name.

9.4 KB

One small stylesheet

All the CSS, gzipped. The scripts (date picker, dropdown, hero button, navbars) are optional, and you only load the ones you use.

No framework, no build step

Add one <link> and use the classes, or install from npm and import it in any bundler.

A real date range picker

Pick-up and return dates with times, range preview, min/max days. Submits like a normal form field.

Searchable dropdowns

Upgrade any <select> in place: groups, sub-labels, type-to-filter, full keyboard support.

Dark mode built in

Add .dark to <html>, or follow the OS automatically. Every component is tuned for both.

Accessible by default

Every coloured label is checked against 4.5:1 contrast. Visible focus rings, ARIA states and keyboard navigation.

Make it yours

Your brand in one line.

Every hover, ring, highlight and selected date is derived from one variable. Pick a colour and this whole page follows.

:root { --ace-primary: #fc5731; }

Install

Up and running in a minute.

Use npm, link it from the CDN, or download the files. It's the same CSS and the same optional scripts either way.

// Vite · Next.js · Nuxt · Webpack (load after any reset / Tailwind)
import '@acecss/core'              // the stylesheet
import '@acecss/core/datepicker'   // optional
import '@acecss/core/select'       // optional
import '@acecss/core/hero' // optional: hero button effects
Born in production

Designed for PRC.rent.
Now free for everyone.

AceCSS started as the component set of PRC.rent, the car rental platform built by Kosowwwa LLC. The buttons, inputs, dropdowns and date pickers are used there every day. AceCSS packages that same design so your project can use it too.
